Founder

Helping our athletes become stronger and meet their goals is one of my greatest satisfactions.

I am a product of rural Minnesota and its unlimited supply of open spaces. I grew up running in the woods, pulling vegetables out of my grandparents’ garden and swimming in the lakes (I’ve been afraid of snapping turtles all my life). As a high school and collegiate athlete, my body was often too tight, weak, and uncoordinated to keep up with my ambitions. Functional movement and the weight room offered me a way to change this.

While a Master Trainer and Spinning Instructor at Washington Sports Clubs, I saw folks come in and do the same thing, again and again, and never change. I knew there was a better way. When I began focusing my workouts on functional movement, I never looked back. After additional training in Olympic Lifting, Gymnastics, and Kettlebells I began to see lasting fitness breakthroughs in my clients and myself. The equipment is simpler, the movements more complex and the results superior.

As an athlete and coach, I am committed to consistent effort and technique. I love improving movement patterns and my background in corrective exercise has given me a wealth of ideas on how to accomplish this with a variety of athletes. Helping our athletes become stronger and meet their goals is one of my greatest satisfactions. At CenterPointe, we believe that actively committing to strength and physical well being is the key to living a balanced, joyful life.
